Badhan is operating a blood transfusion center at TSC office. BTC (Badhan Transfusion Center) was established on September 02, 2006 under the financial support of SpaandanB (an organization of immigrant Bangladeshis). Up to September '09, a total of 2674 bags of blood have been collected in BTC.

At BTC the cost of blood transfusion is very reasonable. For patient of Govt. and private hospital the cost is 300TK and 400TK respectively. For poor patients BTC provides subsidy for transfusion.

Safe blood is ensured by the essential tests of Hepatitis-B, Hepatitis-C, syphilis and HIV.

Badhan is a voluntary organization run by students of undergraduate or graduate level, as a result the time schedule for BTC is kept limited from about 6.30 PM to 9.30 PM.

Hope that the present condition of BTC will be improved and different lab facilities will be incorporated.
