           Date : 13 October,2004

Place :  Fakirpare,Shikderpara,Mollahpara,Kalomer Char,Boundia village of BAGUTIA union in DOULUTPUR thana Under MANIKGANJ dist.

**Most of the villagers are really poor & needy.

**Most of them have no land property (since the river JAMUNA swallowed their land).

**We have distributed relief materials in that area several times .

**All of them are day worker.

**They have no consistent income source.

**No other Govt./Non-govt. org. performed such rehalb. Prog.  Before.

 

SURVEY PROCEDURE:

Our team visited & assessed the area frequently. They visited the area for rehabilitation progmme on 28/09/04, 02/10/2004, 05/10/04 & 09/10/2004.Finally our 13 members team   Went DOULUTPUR on 11 OCT,2004  &  stayed there till 13 OCT,2004 to complete rehalb. Progm. We selected the families by in spot assessment, listed them & give some preconditions so that they feel bindings to make best use of our support. We already decided to sent our first follow-up team there within a few days.

 

Distribution of Materials:

Initially we decided to distribute GOAT & Sheep among majority of the families. But the local people prefer corrugated iron as they are homeless. Then we decide to distribute Corrugated iron among most of   the families.

 

Family Number :

We distributed corrugated iron among 98 families & goats among others   47 families.

 

Cost Breakup:

 

Corrugated Iron = 100 boundels@2350 Tk =235000 Tk

Goats                 =  134 pics                =97030   Tk

Market TAX & others                           = 5200 Tk

Transport                                           =16437 Tk

Others                                               =500 Tk
